EVENTS 2024

The Malagash Heritage Association is pleased to announce our 2024 community events. 

The Museum hosts multiple events throughout the year to highlight our heritage and raise funds.  

  • June – Yard & Bake sale.  BBQ.  50/50 tickets.  Food Bank Drive 

  • July – Heritage Focused event 

  • August-  Malagash Festival Day.  Live music, BBQ, kid games, 50/50, museum tours.  Food Bank 

  • September-December:  Santa Sack Raffle ticket sales.  Over $2000 worth of gift cards 

  • December – Holiday Bazaar.  Music, Bake Sale, Free lunch, 50/50, Raffle tickets.  Food Bank drive 

 

Our Heritage Association is also focused on promoting our community, showing our pride in Magnificent Malagash and supporting inclusion, diversity, charity, and helping our friends and neighbours.

All our events are free but we ask for donations.  Some events are focused on fundraising.  The Association need to raise about 50% of yearly funds by the kind donations of our community.

Most of our events we encourage participants to bring donations of food to support the Pugwash and Tatamagouche Food Banks.

JUNE 22.  Yard & Bake sale. BBQ, 50/50, Food Bank Drive
9AM to 1PM.  

Lots of tresures to be found.  Yard sale  free with donation.  Delicious treats at Bake sale to purchase.  BBQ  items to purchase.  Food bank donations welcomed.

JULY 13.  Heritage Event.  Indigenous Day
1PM start  

Indigenous focused event.  Spiritual stories, medicine wheel, dancing, drumming and participate in a smudging ceremony.  Free lunch.  Food bank donations welcomed.  

AUGUST 03.  Malagash Festival Day.  Rain Date: August 05
Noon - 4PM  

Live Music, BBQ, 50/50, entertainment for Kids, museum tours,. Come out and share in the pride and spirit of magnificant Malagash.  Food bank donations welcomed. RAIN DATE is MONDAY AUGUST 5 Noon-4pm.

DECEMBER 14.  Holiday Bazaar.
Noon - 2PM  

Free Lunch, Bake Sale, 50/50, music, door prize,  Santa sack raffle winners, time with friends, vendors, and food bank drive.
